Magazine
The Task: Created for a media design course, this project required a five-page magazine spread based on just a title. I conceptualized a comprehensive brand identity, including the overarching theme, visual tone, and editorial direction. I was tasked with building a cohesive magazine experience from the ground up, ensuring that the content resonated with a specific, self-defined audience.
The Execution: I developed Fresh, a new magazine that focused on fashion, but rather, the Pinterest of it all. I wanted to create an attainable fashion spread that appeals to the thrifters and dreamers. I wanted to bring a disruptive energy and bring a new light to the print magazine. To bring this vision to life, I acted as both editor and lead designer, managing story choice and placements, Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, and copywriting.
